I started photographing portraits when I was 15 and shot my first wedding in 2018. This has been a wonderful journey so far and I cannot wait to see where this path continues to take me…
But all that is all boring and won’t tell you much about me or working together.
On September 05, 2021 I got married to my lovely Brenden Castile. Since then we’ve just been growing and learning about this new version of life as the two of us. In the late Spring of 2023, we welcomed our first daughter into our lives and in the early Spring of 2025 our second daughter arrived. Raising them has proven to be the wildest and hardest adventure. I’m the biggest introvert of the family, but our second girl seems to be on the same page so far. We spend our evenings cooking, attempting to balance parenthood and work (hint, we still haven’t figured that one out), and constantly starting new hobbies. We also spend a surprising amount of time saying that we’re going to work out together and rarely actually doing it. I value my time more than anything else and this little quad of “we” is always my priority.
I’m an author of image stories and documentarian. I’ve been taking photos and videos for as long as long as I can remember. Storytelling is a passion that was poured into me by my family tree. I’d love to pretend to be fully self made or to have created my own mold, but that would never quite be true.
“Adventurous Homebody” is a phrase that describes me perfectly. I love experiencing new things, traveling, and genuine connection with others. But I also desire (read: require) lots of time at home, drinking too much coffee, and reading late at night.
Lastly, it is pronounced MAYmee (because I know you weren’t quite sure).

I intend to tell your personal story and photograph you as who you are. I believe that photography is the art of empathy, story-telling, and the thievery of random moments. It brings me the most joy to document what is true and real for each subject. My favorite photos are never the ones that I plan to take.
I take a very directorial style during sessions by giving you movements or concepts to fulfill and lending advice along the way. I never expect anyone to know how to model before a session. Once we get started, most of my prompts are based entirely around you and our location. It’s a joy to watch personalities open-up and expand throughout each image. My goal is to capture the most natural version of you. The side that belts songs as loud as possible in the car or dances around the kitchen when you’re doing dishes alone. For couples, I want the see late night movies on the couch, long car-rides where one person just sleeps, and maybe even the moment of sudden understanding after a miscommunication.
